This Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) governs the use of Laythix’s Cloud and its provided services. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of services without refund.
1. Prohibited Email Activities
You are strictly prohibited from using our servers or network for:
- Unsolicited Bulk Email (Spam): Sending mail to recipients who have not explicitly opted-in to your list.
- Mail Bombs: Sending a massive volume of emails to a single address to disrupt their service.
- Spoofing: Forging email headers to hide the true origin of any communication.
- Phishing/Scams: Any activity designed to trick users into revealing sensitive data or participating in fraudulent schemes (e.g., lottery fraud, “get rich quick” schemes).
2. Local Legal Restrictions (Pakistan/PECA)
In compliance with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and the laws of Pakistan, our network must not be used for:
- Hate Speech & Blasphemy: Content that violates religious sensitivities or social harmony as defined by local law.
- Anti-State Content: Material that incites violence or acts against the sovereignty of Pakistan.
- Defamation: Spreading malicious or false information about individuals or organizations.
3. Network Integrity & Resource Limits
- Upstream Compliance: Users must comply with the policies of our upstream infrastructure partners. Any activity that triggers an “Abuse Report” from our data center providers will result in immediate termination.
- Hourly Limits: Standard email accounts are limited to 100 emails per hour.
- Mass Marketing: Our shared hosting environment is not for email marketing. We do not support or provide tools for Mailing Lists on our packages.
- IP Reputation Fee: If your account causes our network IP ranges to be blacklisted (e.g., Baracuda,UCEPROTECTL,Spamhaus), a 15,000 PKR Restoration Fee will be charged to cover administrative and delisting costs.
- VPS Limits: All pricing are based on average 75% utilization and subject to additonal cost/cycle if exceeds.
4. Technical Security
- Encryption: Users are required to use encrypted connections (IMAP/SMTP over SSL/TLS).
- SSL Certificates: While we provide SSL tools, users are responsible for ensuring their DNS (such as Cloudflare,godaddy etc) are correctly configured to display these certificates.
